Forest Light Series: Pink Sunset Observations

This painting along with all of my Forest Light Series, was based on first hand observation, plein air work and my own reference material. Each painting is a one of a kind, original work. Pink Sunset Observations has many layers of glazing as well as some work with a sumo-e brush and palette knife. Only archival materials are used in this acrylic painting and the top coat is UV protection.
Edges are finished in black. no frame required. This painting is a favourite of mine and I am considering saving it in our private collection. The light effects are dazzling and the painting is a very unique one of a kind. The effects achieved on this painting are technically difficult and require a lot of courage! Bev
