Art books, studio books and novels.

Starting with one of my all time favourite books. Wild Swans.  It is a true story of several generations of Chinese Women. Truly remarkable and renders me eternally grateful to be a woman pursuing an art career in Canada.

My current favourite art book is The Selected Paintings of Zhaoming Wu. Most of the book is figurative however I find the lighting and the hard and soft edges to be luscious  The colour palettes of each painting I also admire.

I am also busy learning from Richard Schmidt’s books and Munsell colour charts.
